Common Percentage Calculations
- Grade calculation: Points earned ÷ Total points × 100
- Discount amount: Original price × Discount percentage ÷ 100
- Tip calculation: Bill amount × Tip percentage ÷ 100
- Interest calculation: Principal × Interest rate ÷ 100

- Always divide the part by the whole, then multiply by 100
